Board-Certified Physician | Emergency & Internal Medicine Trained | BHRT Specialist

Douglas Miller, MD

Doug Miller is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with dual training in internal medicine and over 30 years of clinical experience.

With over 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Douglas Miller brings a uniquely comprehensive perspective to longevity care. Board-certified physician and dual-trained in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine, Dr. Miller also holds advanced certification in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). He earned his Bachelor of Science from Washington & Jefferson College, his Medical Doctorate from Georgetown University School of Medicine, and completed residency training at Jefferson Medical Center (Internal Medicine) and the University of Maryland Medical Center (Emergency Medicine).

Dr. Miller’s dedication to hormone optimization began close to home after watching his wife struggle with complex thyroid and estrogen/progesterone imbalances. Years later, as a lifelong athlete who enjoyed cycling, skiing, and weight training, Dr. Miller hit the “andropause wall” in his early 50s. Despite a disciplined diet and active lifestyle, he noticed a sharp drop in recovery, energy, and results. These experiences sparked a deep dive into men’s and women’s hormonal health, evolving into a lifelong commitment to longevity medicine.

In partnership with Dr. Bob Driver at Spartan Medical Associates, Dr. Miller delivers state-of-the-art longevity care to the Lake Norman, Charlotte, and across North Carolina via telemedicine. While BHRT provides a strong foundation, Dr. Miller utilizes advanced, actionable biomarker panels to detect underlying disease processes long before they impact health.

The symptoms of aging we all face are no longer an inevitable fact of life… we now have a choice.  Dr. Miller seeks to help those patients who choose to embrace modern evidence-based medicine to maximize their health, vitality, and quality of life.

Stories From Our Patients

“Even the little things—like how they followed up after the procedure—made me feel taken care of. It’s rare to see that level of detail.”
